Timing between Homeopathy Doses | Homeopathic Health (6 of 7)

Part 6 in a 7-part series

How long should I wait in between doses of the homeopathic remedy?

Like everything previously discussed, this is also individualized.

In general, the more acute and severe something is, the more frequent the doses can be without producing an aggravation, and the higher the potency the remedy can be (potency being another subtlety I haven't really discussed, one which may actually never be important in your case, but something I'll touch on in the future if it becomes necessary to change potencies).

As mentioned above, in a chronic, long-lasting condition, I'd wait around a week to see a response before potentially redosing (assuming nothing has changed in this week), while I'd wait as little as a few minutes to redose if you were facing a severe hospitalizing or life-threatening condition, such as an assault by migraines that were painful enough to put you in the hospital.

Again, these are just general guidelines.

Please call or email me if you are unsure whether to redose or wait in a certain situation that I haven't covered, or if you simply feel that the guidelines don't apply to you.

You could, after all, be right!

I'll always value a own patient's opinion about their progress over the standard response guidelines any day.

Naturopathic Medicine & Homeopathy Testimonials

Before coming to see you, if I ate anything but raw food, I'd feel like my abdomen was so bloated, painful and swollen.

I would get tired and fuzzy in the head from eating almost anything!

Another naturopath diagnosed me with leaky gut, but the supplements she prescribed didn't really help that much.

Your homeopathic remedy and Bowen therapy made a huge difference though.

And I was happy to not have to take so many vitamins!

The mental-emotional technique also made me aware of the past events that had probably contributed to my health problems.

I also appreciated that you could tell me what foods were good for my body, and which foods I was allergic to.

Although, as you told me would happen, it seems these allergies have become less with time, I can now eat almost anything without having any gas, pain, confusion or tiredness.

The TIAs and stroke had left me weak, debilitated, paralyzed and unable to take care of myself.

I had given up hope when I was referred to Dr. Andy, and honestly didn't believe his weird-looking homeopathic treatment would be of any use at all.

My wife had to convince me to give the homeopathy, neuroemotional technique and Bowen therapy a try.

I didn't notice anything at all at first, but my wife, children, and friends all told me I was speaking, moving and looking better.

I don' t know, maybe the changes happened too slowly to notice.

However, the difference is obvious even to me now.

My face, speech and movements are more symmetrical, and I am more independent and capable than I have been for a long time, even since before the stroke.

Back & sleep both are very good now - I don't feel pain or tight muscles any more! Mind is less anxious and worried too, and eyes don't blink without control as before.

Christine R., North Vancouver (Pemberton Heights), B.C.

I have had chronic neck pain for over twenty years which improved significantly as a result of Dr. Somody's treatment.

Similarly, my daughter has had lower back pain for many years, which had dramatic improvement as a result of Dr. Somody's treatment.

She had low back soreness often, especially at night or when she was resting.

That disappeared very quickly as a result of the first Bowen therapy session.

This shift seemed to stick, too - she hasn't needed any more treatment in almost a year, and now barely even mentions her back.

Her stomach pain - it seemed that she had a low-level of parasites that were really good at hiding from her immune system.

Something about the treatment - the mind-body connection, perhaps, or the homeopathics, Bowen [therapy] sessions, dietary counselling, or something else - all I know is that she doesn't even mention her stomach now, and hasn't since the first session.

It's more difficult to judge the effect of the treatment on her anaphylactic allergies, as we've been trying to avoid her biggest anaphylactic triggers.

However, whatever the reason, she hasn't any anaphylatic attacks in the year since she began Dr. Somody's treatment.

Her dyslexia's also dramatically improved to where it could be considered cured, or at least so small that it barely interferes with her life.

Dr. Somody has been both professional and respectful in his care of both my daughter and myself.

I have great regard for Dr. Somody, and for the health results he has achieved in attending to both myself and my daughter.
