How many Homeopathic Tablets? | Homeopathic Health (3 of 7)

Part 3 in a 7-part series on Homeopathy Treatment Guidelines

What number of homeopathic pellets, or weight / volume of Homeopathic remedy should I take for each dose?

The short answer is that I would consider three or four pellets to constitute a dose.

The complete answer is that - although this seems quite strange the first time you hear it (and I wouldn't blame you for checking with me again in person!) - the number of pellets you take is not nearly as important as the frequency at which you take them.

Think about it this way - the remedy is providing some information to your subconscious systems - your nervous system, immune system, cardiovascular system, subtle energy systems, and so forth - which will allow them to do something that they previously could not do before.

This is like the proverb, "give a man a fish, he eats for a day; teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime". Once the system is 'taught', it should ideally remember it's 'lesson' forever, meaning that in this scenario, you'd ideally never need another dose to remain indefinitely healthy!

Of course, not every patient reaches this state of vibrant, optimal health with a single dose of their remedy - just as we tend to consciously forget things we once learned over time, so does our subconscious sometimes forget things.

In this situation, one might want to redose (for more information about the frequency of dosing, please see my answer to question 1 above, or contact me).

However, a great number of my patients ultimately reach a place of vibrant health, where they are empowered and encouraged to maintain their own optimal vitality free of all external aids - which includes me! And, strange as it may seem, it is my goal as a doctor to bring them - and you - there.

Of course, this is a horrendous business strategy - but if I wanted to make money, I would've based my practice on injection therapy, orthomolecular megadosing, or pharmaceuticals - modalities that I am trained in and could use if necessary or desired, but which (in my humble opinion) often provide a bandaid which then falls off over time, requiring the patient to return repeatedly and indefinitely. A great business strategy, indeed, but not one which I'd like to have weighing on my conscience.

However, I also recognize that true individualization of treatment means individualization of treatment type, and am cognizant that there are probably many patients for whom the conventional system is ideal and indeed likely curative, and these patients are in fact likely not good candidates for homeopathy.

That said, such patients are unlikely to even be looking at alternative medicine, as they would have reason to do so!

Whatever the reason, I have yet to meet a patient in my practice who was unresponsive to either homeopathy or any of the other holistic regulatory treatments that I employ on a regular basis - the Neuroemotional Technique (NET), the Neuromodulatory technique (NMT), and the Bowen Technique.

If you're ever in doubt, please contact me with your specific concerns and situation, and I can give you a much more concise and targeted answer!

Naturopathic Medicine & Homeopathy Testimonials

When I was first introduced to homeopathy by Dr Andy Somody, I was skeptical about treatment, thinking it may be something superstitious or spiritual. Nonetheless my curiosity prompted me to give it a try.

I was impressed when Dr. Andy was able to first improve and then cure my spitting of blood and aches in my neck and arms areas. These issues had been bothering me for several months (or even years) and had not responded to Western medicine, but were cured under Dr. Andy's treatment.

I've since realized homeopathy involves not just physical healing, but mental and emotional forms of healing as well. Unlike the regular doctor who usually sees one only through a physical model, visits to Dr Andy also helped me be in touch with my inner self, a part which I've left behind for years in this high-paced society.

I've become more at peace with myself, more calm, more patient and understanding as a human being.

I believe some sicknesses and diseases are emotional and not purely organic in nature. Homeopathy seems to address conditions where regular Western medicine cannot. It is drug-free and it treats the person as a whole being and not just a body part.

This is for those who are looking for a trust-worthy and responsible healthcare provider who sees people as individuals and not one of the masses, who gives customized good service irregardless of one’s financial status, beliefs or creed, a doctor who dedicates his life and stays committed to his calling even at the expense of his time and energy.

I do not give testimonies freely but I give credit when credit is due.

I was glad I took my first step towards homeopathy with Dr Andy Somody. Not only have I benefitted from it, on the lighter side, I’ve also found a new friend here in Vancouver.

Dr. Edison Teo, Vancouver (Kerrisdale), BC

The standard doctors just kept giving me more antibiotics that did nothing.

But after the homeopathy and Bowen therapy, my fever started to go down, and so did the cellulitis.

Then my skin boils and impetigo slowly began to improve over the next few weeks.

My back also feels better and stronger now than it had before the Bowen and neuroemotional releases.

Clint M., Victoria, BC

Andy used homeopathy and bowen technique to treat the itching, burning pimples I used to have around my mouth.

My skin was already feeling better after the treatment, and my face cleared up after a couple of weeks.

I've had the occasional pimple since then, but the homeopathy treatment always seems to make my skin clear up really quickly.

Adam B, Surrey (White Rock / South Surrey), BC

My vision has gotten over 50% better in just a few weeks with the homeopathy, bowen therapy, and neuroemotional technique releases.

I feel great - less stressed, and sleeping well.

Grant D, West Vancouver (Ambleside), BC
